Students pitch skills to technology recruiters

Auckland International Campus partnered with leading technology recruitment specialist Potentia to deliver a Professional Pitch Session last week.

The event was an opportunity for students to present their professional journeys directly to industry recruiters and receive valuable feedback.

Students from Information Technology and Business Information Systems programmes showcased a diverse range of skills and experience across enterprise IT, full-stack development, AI engineering, quality assurance and automation, agile delivery, SAP transformation, business analysis, and data and systems innovation.

A key highlight of the session was feedback from the Potentia team, who said that every student who presented was extremely employable.

The event helped students build confidence, refine their professional pitches, and gain insights into how their skills are perceived by the New Zealand technology sector. For many participants, it was a chance to demonstrate not only their technical capabilities, but also their professionalism, communication skills, and career readiness.

The session reflects AIC's commitment to experiential learning and industry engagement, creating meaningful opportunities for students to connect with employers, receive real-world feedback, and strengthen their transition from study to employment.

AIC extends its sincere thanks to Potentia for their time, expertise, and encouragement, as well as the staff and student volunteers who helped make the event a success.
